What kind of gloves?

Boxing, Muay Thai, Kick Boxing gloves

They are closed hand gloves to be used both for amateur matches and in training. They guarantee safe training. They range from as little as 8 ounces to as many as 20. The greater the number of ounces, the more the padding, the weight and (slightly) the wearability increase. We recommend buying 10 Oz gloves for those weighing up to 70 kg, 12 Oz gloves up to 80 kg, 14 Oz gloves up to 90 kg. 16oz up to 100kg.

MMA gloves

They range from 4 to 8 ounces, and their size also varies according to hand size (from M to XL). The knuckles are covered and lightly padded, but the fingers are not. This makes submissions, projections and grappling practices possible. It is not advisable to use them during sparring, as it would be dangerous for both yourself and your opponent.

Bag gloves

You can use them during bag or hitting training sessions. The thumb is unpadded or even uncovered, and does not guarantee the same protection as a classic boxing glove.  They range from 6 to 10 Ounces.

Material: Leather or Synthetic?

They can be externally covered both in synthetic leather (also called PU leather) and in genuine leather.  Genuine leather gloves are softer and much more resistant over time, but cost more. Despite this, we at Ventura have managed to offer it to you at an exceptional price.

Closure: Velcro or Laces?

The glove can be with Velcro closure (strap) or with laces.
Boxing gloves with laces are recommended as a racing glove, as they require more time and another person to put on (assuming you are not using converters); They offer the advantage of having a more snug fit of the glove which guarantees better performance.  The Velcro closure allows you to quickly put on the glove and then switch from training exercises to hitting the bag or sparring quickly.

Cuts and Weight: How many ounces (oz) ?

It is advisable to purchase 10 Oz gloves for those weighing up to 70 kg, 12 Oz gloves up to 80 kg, 14 Oz gloves up to 90 kg. 16 oz up to 100 kg.
